Sugar Free Cranberry Sauce


Who needs store bought cranberry sauce when you can make it yourself without sugar?!?


Sweet and slightly tart...the perfect homemade cranberry sauce sure to impress anyone joining. This dish can be made the night before and stored in a sealed mason jar overnight.


Ingredients:

12 oz fresh cranberries

1/4 c monk fruit sweetener

1/2 c water

zest of an orange


Directions:

1. In a large saucepan add sugar and water, mix until dissolved.

2. Add cranberries and zest of an orange.

3. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes, stir every few minutes to keep the mixture from burning.

4. Once cranberries have popped and the sauce has thickened, allow the sauce to cool and store in a mason jar.


**Make this ahead of time for one less item to worry about**

This recipe makes about 10oz of cranberry sauce.
