Protein & Vegetable Salad Jar

Portable and prep-able, we love our salad jars!! These fun beauties can use up the leftovers in the fridge, entice your children to help prep meals, and have a limitless amount of options! If you don't have tomatoes, try grilled cucumbers, add some jicama...enjoy fruit in your salad enjoy strawberries! Keep the ingredients seasonal, fresh, and simple.

Who doesn't love options?

So we couldn't decide which salad jar to make first, so our first jar is a standard ingredient salad with a zesty asian vinaigrette.


1/2 c diced tomato

1/2 c diced cucumber

1/2 c shredded carrots

4 oz cooked ground beef or turkey

2 cups mixed greens

2 oz Asian Vinaigrette

24oz Jar

4 oz Jar


  1. In a 24oz mason jar, start by placing the tomatoes at the bottom, followed by cucumber, and then carrots. Add your protein then finish with mixed greens.

  2. In a separate container add your salad dressed so that you can add to the jar when you are ready to enjoy your meal.
