Paleo Meatloaf

For those who grew up eating this time-old dish in their home, you are going to love my new Paleo version. The greatest part of this dish is that it has that traditional flavor we all love, but with a combination of wholesome green ingredients to give you a full packed nutritious meal. Though your mother probably spent a whole afternoon perfecting her meatloaf recipe, our version only takes about 15 minutes to prepare. That means that once you pop it in the oven, you’ll get plenty of time to kick back, relax, and enjoy your evening with loved ones (or simply indulge in this savory treat for the rest of the week’s leftovers!)


1 lb. ground turkey

3 minced garlic cloves

1/2 yellow onion diced

1/2 c shredded carrots

1/2 c minced mushrooms

1 tbsp dried rosemary

1 tsp dried sage

3 tbsp Eat-fficient Meatloaf seasoning

1 egg


  1. Grease a loaf pan. Preheat oven to 375*F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl add ground turkey, garlic, onions, carrots, mushrooms, rosemary, sage, and meatloaf seasoning. We prefer to mix with our hands verses a spoon. Once all the ingredients have been well mixed, add in one full egg and mix again well.

  3. Place meatloaf into a pan, smooth the top and place into oven for 45 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes then slice.
