Cocktail Hour Italian Skewers

Updated: Nov 23, 2019

If you’re like me, you love getting together with friends for dinner or barbecue, but trying to prepare a meal ahead of time can prove to be quite a challenge, thus making the anticipation more stressful than exciting. That’s why I came up with the make ahead Italian skewers. These are easy for meal prep the night before so that they can simply grab them and go to your next destination. They make a great

hors d'oeuvres for parties or cocktail hour and can easily be mixed and matched with your favorite Italian ingredients (such as different olives, cheeses, and vegetables) as you make them over time.

These are also great if you have a big family who love to snack all the time because they are relatively quick and easy to whip up, which is why we recommend keeping these ingredients regularly in your house. Regardless of what or who you make them for, be prepared to share because everyone is going to want to get their hands on these.

24 tooth picks

24 slices of salami

24 cubes or mini balls of mozzarella cheese

24 cubes of your favorite cheese(we use whatever is left in the house, but make sure whatever you use is thick enough to stay on the skewer)

24 pimento stuffed green olives

24 pit-less black olives

  1. On your tooth pick add one of the following: salami, mozzarella ball, cheese cube, green olive, and black olive.

  2. Simply Place in a tightly sealed container for easy access and snacking
