Everyone loves apple pie, but few people realize that it’s really the simple sugar of the cooked apples combined with the cinnamon that gives it that memorable flavor we all love. That’s why we created our gluten-free vegan cinnamon apple recipe. This recipe proves that having simple yet wholesome ingredients is all you need to make a delicious meal!
This is one of my favorite go-to snacks for the day since it provides a nice volume of carbs to boost energy. On the other hand, it makes for a guilt-free and pleasure-filled healthy deserts at night.
2 apples (The riper, the better!)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp cinnamon
1. Cut the apple into quarters, cut out the core, and thinly slice into bite sized chunks.
2. In a sauté pan, heat coconut oil until melted. Then add the apples, sea salt, and cinnamon.
3. Cook on a low heat until the apples are almost soft, 10-15 minutes.
